    The Dream Day Foundation’s purpose and mission is to support the life-saving efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through fundraising, advocacy, and special events in order to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families. The organization was looking for a new spin on a traditional luncheon. The challenge this year was to develop a successful fundraising campaign without actually having a luncheon! The BREW team developed a direct-mail campaign, consisting of a paper ‘lunch sack’ invitation with instructions for participation, and the donation card, reply envelope and blank lunch note inside. The campaign encouraged participants to not only donate to the organization, but also help create a lasting memory by sending a child and their family a personalized “lunch note” of hope and encouragement. The campaign successfully raised over $3,000 for the organization. BREW received a Gold Addy at the 2014 American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge Awards in recognition for this campaign.
