When Marie Brewer Powell walked away from traditional agency life to forge her own path, she didn't just dream of a different kind of agency—she built one. Brew Agency was launched with an audacious vision and the rallying cry "Wake Up Your Brand." The name wasn't just clever branding; it embodied her belief that, like crafting the perfect brew, building remarkable brands requires equal parts expertise, patience, and experimentation.
While others chased awards and bragging rights, Brew quietly revolutionized the agency model. The agency embraced a creative culture that stood apart from typical "grind culture," including an early adoption of remote work. In 2021, Brew established its new headquarters, The Brewery, which doubles as a collaborative co-working space for businesses and entrepreneurs in the Baton Rouge community.
