WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in Central, Louisiana, which is about 30 minutes north of Baton Rouge. It’s a pretty small town where everyone knows each other, so it was fun to move to Baton Rouge for college and then New Orleans after graduation.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?
I love to travel and go on new adventures! Exploring a new city or place that I’ve never been and experiencing all of the sites is my favorite. Also, I’m a sucker for a good makeup YouTube tutorial.
DID YOU ALWAYS WANT TO BE AN ACCOUNT MANAGER?
Hmm, not really! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do in the advertising/marketing field after school. However, my first job out of college was an Account Manager, and I loved it and was really successful! I love to be in charge of the projects at the agency and making sure clients get what they need from us.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BREW (BEER/TEA/COFFEE)?
As strange as this is, I’m not a big coffee or tea drinker! I don’t really need caffeine to function, other than the occasional Dr. Pepper as a treat. So, I’d have to go with beer!
I worked at The Pelican House in Baton Rouge during college, so I gained an affinity for craft beer. My favorite is Abita StrawGator (Abita Strawberry Harvest mixed with Andygator).
WHAT’S YOUR TOP CORE VALUE AND WHY?
I would have to say “positive” is my favorite core value. In our industry, it’s sometimes easy to let small hiccups in a project put a damper on your day, but it’s important to stay positive at all costs for the team.
FAVORITE LOCAL LUNCH SPOT?
Our office is located around so many good lunch spots. However, surprisingly enough, my favorite has to be Chick-Fil-A. I’m addicted, along with every other 20-something female.
WHAT’S ONE FACT ABOUT YOURSELF THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO HEAR?
I was a gymnast and competitive cheerleader for almost 20 years! I don’t practice anymore due to a previous injury, but I still have the ability to walk on my hands for pretty much as long as I can walk on my feet.
WHICH FICTIONAL CHARACTER (TV SHOW, MOVIE, OR BOOK) DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH?
I would have to say Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. Not so much that I identify with her, but more that I want to be her.
WHAT’S YOUR IDEAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION?
Traveling somewhere beautiful! I spent my last birthday in Mexico with my boyfriend and friends, and it was amazing. I’ve also spent a couple birthdays in NYC.
If travel isn’t an option, just hanging out with friends and having some wine!
