Want to learn more about the people behind the Brew? This series will give you the answers to the most important questions (and some not-so-important questions) you may want to ask. This week, we’re chatting with Erica Glory, our Account Manager.
BREW TOP 10
- Where did you grow up? I was born in Baton Rouge and moved out to Prairieville where I was raised until I returned to Baton Rouge for college. A few years after graduating from LSU I had the opportunity to move to where my now husband grew up, The Northshore. We love it there, but Baton Rouge is forever home to me. I’m so excited to be working here again.
- What do you do for fun? Anything outside in nature, especially on the water. I love traveling, seeing new places and trying new things. Especially watching my kids experience new things. I’ve gotten back into books lately, though usually I only have time for audio books. I love attending sports games and concerts, playing piano and pickleball.
- Did you always want to be an Account Manager? I’m an agency girlie at heart. I started my career off in Account Services at a local agency and in a way have always been trying to make everywhere else I worked operate more like an agency. Rejoining the agency world feels full circle for me.
- What’s your favorite brew? I love an iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I’m naturally a morning person but will always need an afternoon pick-me up.
- What’s your top Brew core value and why? Hungry. Both professionally and personally. Literally and figuratively.
- Favorite local lunch spot? I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working in the same city as Faye’s again. Their grilled chicken spinach wrap is everything.
- What’s one fact about yourself that most people would be surprised to hear? I’m actually a huge Swiftie and have been since 06 (even through the era where it wasn’t cool to like her). I’ve seen her in concert more than 10+ times and she’s sent me an autographed photo.
- Which fictional character (tv show, movie, or book) do you most identify with? Olivia Pope is iconic to me.
- What’s your ideal birthday celebration? Is it horrible to say a night alone in a hotel room with room service and a face mask and whatever I wanted on TV? Second best would be a getaway with family, oooo or a summer camp style cabin trip with all our friends and competitive camp activities/games.
- Who do you want to be when you grow up? A good person. Is that cheating to say that? I just want to be known as a good person, a good mom, a good wife, a good coworker and a good friend.
