Want to learn more about the people behind the Brew? This series will give you the answers to the most important questions (and some not-so-important questions) you may want to ask. This week, we’re chatting with Mark Vincent, our Director of Business Development.
BREW TOP 10
- Where did you grow up? Metairie, Louisiana
- What do you do for fun? Fish, hunt, and spending time with my amazing wife and two spirited boys.
- Did you always want to be a Director of Business Development? Yes, in some form or fashion. My dad never met a stranger, and I also love getting to know quality people and hearing their stories.
- What’s your favorite brew? Copper top; Miller Light
- What’s your top Brew core value and why? GRATITUDE; by choosing to be thankful in all circumstances I have been able to grow through some of my biggest struggles as much as in my successes. Suffering, in particular, has allowed me to grow deeper in faith as a Christian and taught me how to learn to handle painful situations with grace and empathy for others.
- Favorite local lunch spot? Rocco’s Po Boys!
- What’s one fact about yourself that most people would be surprised to hear? I quit smoking in 2016 and one year later ran in my first half marathon. I enjoy training for long distance races and have completed two full marathons and four half marathons.
- Which fictional character (tv show, movie, or book) do you most identify with? Carl Fredricksen
- What’s your ideal birthday celebration? A long weekend in Nashville listening to live music for three days straight.
- Who do you want to be when you grow up? A jolly old grandpa that gets to take his grandkids fishing!
