Saturday, February 28, we got to relive our high school glory days at the American Advertising Federation’s annual ADDY Awards at L’auberge Casino & Hotel. The prom theme (complete with formal attire, a lively dance floor, and more drinking than we’d like to admit to our parents) was a perfect way to kick back and celebrate the many achievements and great work produced by our local advertising community this past year. At the end of the night, we were honored to take home three Gold ADDYs and a Special Judge’s Award.
In the category of “Sales Promotion Menu Design”, we won for our work with Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. We were asked to re-design all of their room services menus last year, and we truly enjoyed this project from start to finish. The design incorporated custom illustration work, a fresh new color palette, and fun font choices.
In the “Advertising Industry “Direct Marketing/Specialty Items” and “Advertising Industry Self Promotion Single Medium Campaign” categories, we won for our BREW Agency Wake Up Your Brand Campaign. We all know how difficult it can be to make time for self-promotion, but we worked really hard to make this a priority this past year as we underwent a complete re-branding. Being the most personal project in our book, we are truly honored to receive this recognition. To make it even sweeter, it also garnered a Special Judge’s Award. Each of this year’s judges was asked to select their personal choice for Best of Show, and judge Michael Rivera, Digital Associate Creative Director for Big Red Rooster in Atlanta, selected our Wake Up Your Brand campaign.
With so much creative talent in our local community, we feel truly honored to be among the list of winners. We look forward to another great year filled with amazing clients and award-winning work!
