Want to learn more about the people behind the Brew? This series will give you the answers to the most important questions (and some not-so-important questions) you may want to ask. This week, we’re chatting with Leigh Auzenne, our Account Coordinator.
BREW TOP 10
- Where did you grow up? Flower Mound, Texas. It’s a suburb about 30 minutes north of Dallas.
- What do you do for fun? Hang out with friends and eat good food – I’m a big foodie.
- Did you always want to be an Account Coordinator? I actually started college in the pre-vet track but quickly learned that I wasn’t good at science and changed my major to Mass Communication. After some time, I learned that I was really good with people and then I decided I wanted to be in the account side of an advertising agency. The rest is history!
- What’s your favorite brew? Fruity green teas! I like peach or berry green teas best.
- What’s your top Brew core value and why? Humble. I think it’s so important to give credit where it’s due and make sure that everyone feels heard and appreciated. Saying “we” is so much stronger than saying “I”.
- Favorite local lunch spot? Cheba Hut Toasted Subs. They have a huge menu and every sandwich is so good! They even have nachos made with Doritos on their menu, and they are scrumptious.
- What’s one fact about yourself that most people would be surprised to hear? I lived and worked in France for 8 months! I taught English to high school students and speak French as well.
- Which fictional character (tv show, movie, or book) do you most identify with? Caroline Forbes from The Vampire Diaries, after she’s adjusted to being a vampire. She’s very social, well adjusted, and always maintains a positive outlook, even when things get hard.
- What’s your ideal birthday celebration? A group outing for an activity. I went to Medieval Times with a group of friends a few years ago and it was so much fun – I even ended up losing my voice the next day from cheering.
- Who do you want to be when you grow up? I don’t have a celebrity or public figure that I idolize, but I’d like to be well-adjusted, confident, kind, fashionable, and just cool. If teenagers think I’m cool, I’ll know I’ve made it.
