Want to learn more about the people behind the Brew? This series will give you the answers to the most important questions (and some not-so-important questions) you may want to ask. This week, we’re chatting with Meghan Sellers, our Creative Director.

BREW TOP 10

  1. Where did you grow up? Watson, Louisiana
  2. What do you do for fun? If I have down time I watch my favorite twitch streamers, read my fantasy books, and cook delicious meals for dinner.
  3. Did you always want to be a Creative Director? It wasn’t initially on my career radar, but as I moved forward in my previous role as an Art Director, I began to see the appeal and potential of stepping into the shoes of a Creative Director. Working closely with a talented team of creatives to plan, create, and deliver high quality work to ensure the success and satisfaction of our clients is what fueled me to pursue this role.
  4. What’s your favorite brew? Pour some shots of espresso over milk and ice and I’m at my best for the day!
  5. What’s your top Brew core value and why? As a Creative Director, I’m always hungry to grow and learn, tackling new challenges and learning from both wins and mess-ups in my work and personal life—it’s just part of getting better at what I do!
  6. Favorite local lunch spot? The drive could be too far for lunch, but my favorite restaurant for both lunch and dinner in Baton Rouge is Parrain’s Seafood off Perkins Road. When we lived in Texas, my husband and I always made it a point to eat there any time we were in town.
  7. What’s one fact about yourself that most people would be surprised to hear? My name given at birth was Angela Meghan Dantzler, and later it was legally changed to be Meghan Angela Dantzler.
  8. Which fictional character (tv show, movie, or book) do you most identify with? In my all time favorite book series Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, the main character is Aelin Galathynius whose mission in the most general sense is to save their world. Aelin’s character embodies what I think being a strong woman is in its entirety. She feels strong and deeply, uses wit to cover up her feelings, wants to handle things independently and always for others, and embodies her strengths but also embraces her weaknesses.
  9. What’s your ideal birthday celebration? I love inviting all my friends over and we have game night!
  10. Who do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be at the top of my career and look back and know I was the best mother to my son and loving wife to my husband.
